Cookies
What is stored in your browser, what you chose, and how to change it.
What we ask you and why
Only one thing: a cookie that lets us recognise your browser when you come back, so we can tell how many people return. Nothing else. No advertising, no social networks, nothing that follows you across other sites.
You can say no, and the shop works exactly the same. Refusing costs one click, the same as accepting: the law requires consent for anything not strictly necessary, and asking properly means saying no has to be just as easy.
Until you decide, nothing is stored. Not answering counts as a no.
What is stored in your browser
- Your cart, in the browser’s local storage. It holds which pieces you chose and how many — not your name, not your email, not any price. It only travels to a server when you view your cart or pay. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- A session cookie, only in the shop’s admin area and only for whoever logs in with a password. It does not affect visitors.
lbc_cookies, which stores what you decided here. It lasts twelve months and cannot be turned off: it is precisely what stops the banner from showing again and again. It contains only “yes” or “no”.lbc_visitante, a random number that only exists if you said yes. It lasts twelve months and is used to tell whether the same browser comes back another day. It carries no name, no email, nothing you typed, and is shared with nobody. If you refuse, it is deleted.
None of this can be used to follow you across other websites.
How visits are counted
We do keep a count of how many people come in and which pages they look at — without it there is no way to tell whether the shop works. But it is counted on the server: nothing is stored in your browser for this, no cookie or anything like it. That is why you are not asked for permission.
So that you are not counted ten times in one day, your IP address and browser are turned into an unreadable fingerprint that expires every night. Neither the IP nor the browser is kept: both are discarded on the spot. Tomorrow you would be a different person as far as that count goes, so you cannot be followed from one day to the next.
What is stored are numbers: how many visits each page had, which site people arrived from, whether it was a phone or a computer, and in which language. None of it points to anyone in particular.
Third-party cookies
When paying you are taken to Stripe’s gateway, which does use its own cookies for fraud prevention. That happens on Stripe’s domain and is governed by their policy, not this one.
Your choice
You have not decided yet, so no measurement cookie is set.
You can change it whenever you like:
